Day 2.

So sorry I've been M.I.A. I have only recently got an internet connection back! Back on form now though :-)

2. Your favourite pair of shoes.

This is SO hard, Shoes are my love! So much so, that I worked at Faith shoes (until it went into adminstration :-( boo!) and I spent almost all of my wage on shoes! Im a beach girl at heart, so I pretty much wear flip flops daily. But heels... and boots.... and wedges... galore!

I narrowed it down to 3 pairs (it was hard) and these are them! The pictures dont do justice as to how amazing they really are!

These are sooo beautiful! They arent a high heel, but they are beautiful for summer! Patent and nude and a gorgeous pom-pom type of thing at the ends! I loveeeeeeeee them!

There are no words, these are again from Faith. They are my ultimate black heel. The heels of the shoe are all diamond encrusted! & they have a gorgeous bow design on the front.

These are just fab! I got these in Australia at a Department Store called David Jones, and they only cost me about 10pounds in their sale! & they were in my size, I had the have them! I love the colour and they are so comfy!

Day 1.

Im going to give this 30 Day Challenge a go... so...

1. A photo of you taken today.

I gave up on the glasses, as they were costing me a fortune to keep replacing! The amount of times I sat on them, broke them, etc... Wasnt worth it. Ive settled on contacts. Theyre my exact colour blue, but they make me look a tad different? :/.... Hmmm. I will see how they do :-)

Feeling Fit!

So down in the dumps has passed! I spent a lottttt of time on the internet! Bonus to this = I found my perfect dress. Bargain from Mango for £39!

Its a wrap around maxi dress in snake print. I am obsessed with animals and animal print of anything. I even had a ring on that was a wrap around snake. I am a little sad.
I wore it to a friends engagement party and the attention I got for it really lifted my spirits. Although, I went out thinking I looked one way, then looked on the pictures and I looked completely different - I hate that!

Ive also realised that I NEED to diet. All that time I was bedridden, I have clearly overeaten. My arms seem to be 298483 times bigger than they were 2 months ago! Any tips on how to do this?

Heres a few piccies in the beaut :)

And with little cutie Tab :)

Any American bloggers out there?

Ive seen a gorgeous makeup bag that I NEEEEEEEEED in my life, but its from Target and they dont ship to the UK.

Id happily do a swap if anyone is interested, or knows anyone whos looking? :-)

Here is the bag and price: http://www.target.com/Calypso-for-Target-Elephant-Clutch/dp/B004R01O6S/ref=sc_qi_detaillink

Thankyou! :-)

Beauty is everywhere...

I collect so many pictures and images of looks that I love. They can be anything from make up, hair, fashion, skin, the photograph - Anything. I thought I would share a few of these. And if anyone knows of anyone who has re-created any of the looks id love to know :-)

I believe these are Audrina from The Hills shoes. You cannot fathom how much I need these in my life. And look how lovely and tanned her legs are.

I have always loved Megan Fox, I constantly get told I look like her when I have dark hair, But I honestly do not see it. She is very skinny! But I adore her laidback style and the way she makes looking stunning to effortless. Her hair is gorgeous as well!

My dad sent me this years ago. I have always loved Art and ive been doing it since I was about 2. Always obsessed with Art Attack and went to a million and one Art camps. I do it now at university and its the most rewarding feeling being able to paint all day.

I have no idea where I found this, but I need it in my life!

This picture just calms me. The ocean is my favourite place to be in the world. Growing up around the sea, I was always obsessed with it and everything beneath it. I definitely need my own house soon! Just so I can create my own serenity.

Now this just makes me want to get a fringe, End!

My favourite lady. In all her curvacious glory.

How amazing does Cameron Diaz look here! So beautifully tanned and glowing. She suits dark hair so well!

Love this. My total signature look. Love green shadow and dewy skin.

My sister sent me this a few days ago - Saying that she was the perfect woman. I definitely dont think that, I think she needs a few cakes in her, but I think she is stunning beautiful and gorgeous in that outfit.

I dont think theres an explanation needed for this...

What a beauty. She wil always be my Cleopatra.

Again, Another from the Dad. I loved this so much, I printed it off, had it blown up and put it on my wall. I definitely believe this is the way forward! :-)

I adore the dark hair and red lips combo. This photo is so effortlessly sexy. I love this look.

The hair! The hair! The hair!

Unbelievable!

I come from a family of tattoo artists, and I have always loved tattoos (at the expense of my mother) But this is beautiful.

What an amazing bedroom. So calming.

I went to Thailand for my 21st. It was everything I expected. I went to THEE Beach from the film and I have never been more amazed in my life. Its sheer beauty.

Christina. What a babe.

I thought id add this in. Loved him since Donnie Darko - Now I end up with a boyfriend who looks quite like him. I think I got the better end of the deal :)

I literally picked these at random. I would love to put loads more in but im sure it would bore a lot of people with loads of pictures and images.

Happy Days Ladies X

ALL TIME FAVS

I could spent... literally... hours in Boots and Superdrug looking at all the make up! (drives the boyf crazy, but meh - who cares?!) I ALWAYSSS buy when they have the offers on, especially nail polish.
However, there are some products I will always remain faithful too & constantly re-purchase.
These are the beautys:

Now they are a bit muddled up and not in a particular order but I think you get the picture :-) I wont list all of them because Im sure all you lovely ladies know what pretty much ALL of them are! I will go through a few though...

Obviously - The NAKED Palette, who hasnt heard of this? I adore this. I think most do. Its the only palette I take with me anywhere I go. Weekends away, nights at the boyfriends, holidays etc. Its perfect, the lasses at Urban Decay really got that one right!
Sigma brushes have been my best beauty investment so far. I bought the 12 set in the stand up case, and its amazing. I am in love with them and I look after them pretty well. I wash them sort of every other week with Tesco baby shampoo, its only 17p!
MAC studio fix and Revlon colour stay foundation are my fundamentals. I have very oily skin, but it seems to only be on my cheeks. Hmmm :/. I do wish someone would explain the whole NW and NC though as it does confuse me. I have the NW in 25 but I think its a bit red/pink on my face. I still love it for when I have a bit of tan/fake tan :-) and Revlon, well... Its true love.
I also have some cheap foundations just for chill out days when I cant be bothered to fake tan, so I just have them in some light colours. They are the maybelline matte mouuse and the Rimmel Stay Matte.
Now - there are A LOT of ELF products that I love, but there are some that are my absolute favs! The high definition powder is very helpful for when ive no tan and my foundation is a bit too dark, I just put a bit of tinted moisturiser (ELF) and then a bit of that on top. I dont wear it when im tanned. Its a bit to pale! The primer is fabulous! I havent tried many primers, but I love this one! I cant say much more about that really!
I do buy a few single eyeshadows, but only in quite strong colours. (You cant say as my camera settings have somehow decided to become black) But the MUA eyeshadow is a gorgeous lime green and the 17 is a lovely trio of golds and oranges. I also have a limited edition MAC tartan eyeshadow palette which has some lovely basics.
I LOVE LIPSTICKS! My lord... I love them. But these are my fav colours so far this year... Maybelline colour sensation in colours  842-Rosewood Pearl, which is a gorgeous nude. And 416-Coral Fever which a lovely bright orange. I also constantly re-purchase NYX Lip Smacking fun colour in Orange Soda. Lovely with green shadow and peach cheeks.
For the past pretty much 4 years I have always used the Bourjois Volume clubbing mascara as I just felt the brush got my lashes a lot better than others I had tried. Although I have been turned! To Maybelline OneByOne volume express. I bought this mainly because I loved the colour of the tube! haha!
I generally buy any sort of black kohl eyeliner but ive been using NYX milk Jumbo eyeliner as it just opens my eyes a lot more and looks very flattering in the Summer.
Bourjois Chocolate Bronzer - LOVELOVELOVE. All I have to say. LOVE IT! I also adore Sleek Face Contour Kit, but I think I need to get the lighter shade as the medium is a bit dark for me.
For blush ive been using Estee Lauder Deluxe all over face compact as it has three different shades of blush and its lovely for different skin tones.
Lip Smacker in Coca Cola! Primark can through out some beauties at their till points. I love this!

I hope that was an enjoyably little insight into my fav beauty goodies. There are loadssssss id love to try.

Chanel pro lumiere foundation.
Laura Mercier primer & tinted moisturiser.
Sleek face compact.
MUFE smoky lash mascara.
MAC Angel lipstick.
MAC ladyblush blusher.

Are any of these worth the purchase?

LOVE... X

Happiness!

I dont want to jinx anything, But im starting to feel better, which means I can begin to work again. Which means goodies! :-)

This good mood has influenced my thought process today. Ive eaten differently today, had lots of green tea and water, took the dogs for a walk, and im feeling so positive. I wish I could bottle this feeling and sell it because its so uplifting :)

I think its so important to feel content with yourself. I saw a lovely article in the Daily Mail about embracing curves and the womanly shape and its just so lovely that people are beginning to realize that curves do not mean fat. They mean normal, sexy and fab!
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/home/you/article-2006355/The-new-body-bountiful-Why-curves-making-splash-beach.html

Always remember, when youre feeling down about the way you look, Marilyn Monroe, the most beautiful woman in the world, was a size 14. It is definitely not fat, its pure beauty. And she was an absolute bombshell!
I thought id add some lovely pictures ive seen recently of some lovely makeup looks :-) and I hope this positivity becomes infectious and will last!

Foxy Lady.

Beautiful... Big... Bouncy...

is the hair that I love. And never achieve. If you'd seen my previous post you'd know that Fran Fine is my hair idol! But I have now found the answer!

So surely if youve been reading this blog, youve been reading others, and i'm thinking that means youve watched some youtube beauty gurus. If you havent watched this one, I suggest you do! - Foxylocks Extensions!

I have watched the beautiful Imogen on Foxy Locks for almost a year now, and being a poor student I was never able to treat myself to some of her gorgeous extensions.
Thank the lord for Valentines Day! I was too excited to get them in the post, I kept checking the status of delivery on them!
I finally got them - beautifully packaged (pink!), silky soft, long and fabulous extensions!

Now - the thing I was worried about is whether they would match my hair, but the lovely Imogen has a facebook page where you can upload a picture of your hair and she will match you. Well - did she get the colour spot on, they were perfect! So professional! I got the deluxe set, which is more appropriate for people with thick hair. I got them in the Darkest Brown colour and I was due at the hairdressers in about a months time, and I wanted to wait until I had my hair all done to bust them out on a night out. The extensions are that amazing, you can cut, dye, curl, straighten, you name it! My hairdresser coloured them the same colour I had got my hair done. Now there is a lot of hair in these extensions (another amazing benefit) and she coloured all the pieces for £20! She then cut the two front pieces to mould around the front of my face. Voila!

I do apologise for this photo - but its the only one with my new short hair - boring and bland. And flat might I add.

I was planning on doing my hair with and without the extensions specifically for this post, but I thought it would be a better option to show the extensions in all their glory - a night on the town. Now this is the typical drunken picture taken in the "quick trip to the bathroom, touch up make-up, slur loving affection on your friends and pose for a picture" stage. So I was rather intoxicated. 5 hours in and they are glorious! I styled them with a Babyliss curling wand, as I did on my own hair and they blended so beautifully! Is it possible to be in love with them... ?!

I am on the right :-)

I have to say - watching Imogen on youtube and seeing all the lovely comments and feedback I was certainly not disappointed. Infact, I have never been more happier with my hair! I have had so many compliments and I, personally feel so much more glam and gorgeous when I have them in. I love big hair, and its amazing what just a few extensions can do for your confidence. I love them so much that ive become quite anal about them! My family laugh as I lay them out perfectly on my dressing table so not to ruin them. Foxy Locks do stock some beautiful storage cases, but as I said - Im a poor student at the moment!

Imogen has a beautiful youtube channel where she has lots of videos with different tutorials shown with the extensions, and also beauty and makeup videos. If you some spare time, do watch some, and like me you will find yourself glued! http://www.youtube.com/FoxyLocksExtensions

I hope you all take a look and hopefully get to enjoy the beauty of the extensions just like I have :-) and also a big thankyou to Imogen - for knowing exactly what us ladies want! Gorgeous hair without having to re-mortgage our house!

(I will add some more pictures when my camera starts to work - I NEED to show how amazing they really are!)

Lots of love ladies, and Happy Hair Days!

Selling, selling, selling!

My sister and myself spent all day going through old belongings and clothes that we dont wear anyone. We ended up with three hugeeee piles and over 60 pieces of clothing, so getting them on eBay will take a matter of days.

Some of the items are already up :-) And the rest will go up towards the end of the week..

LONDON NIGHTS

This is just a quick one.

If youve read previously... Im ill... To be specific (and make more sense) I have a ribcage inflammation. Horrid. So I am out of work.

However, To support my studies I do a bit of events management with a company called Met Parties, London.I tend to this through A LOT of advertising, but as I can barely walk I thought I would put the facebook page on here for anyone who wants to know anymore.

If youre making a little trip to London, or live there, or know anyone that does - Have a look as I post events and guestlists for nightclubs there :-) It is on a bit of lowdown at the minute, but once I am fully fit again it will be up and running properly :-)

Here is the page: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002380397371

Feel free to add and ask any questions or send messages as you please :-)

Lots of love ladies, Chantelle X

Food, hands down. I love me fooooooooooood.

5) FAVOURITE PLACE TO SHOP?
Monsoon, Miss Selfridge. I love San Pedro markets as well. and Camden is lovely.

6) SUN CREAM OR SUN OIL?
Sun oil. Dont really like sun cream. I dont tend to burn so I like to use oil.

7) DO YOU HAVE FRECKLES? FACE/BODY?
I doooo. I have them on my nose!l lol. But not a lot on my body. I have a lot of beauty spots.

8) SUN, RAIN, SNOW?
Sun. But I like the snow cause I loveeeee skiing.

9) DO YOU SHOP IN PRIMARK?
I dont often as im unsure as to their ethical issues, but I pop in every now and again and have a good rumble through. I dont find a lot for me though.

10) WHAT MOISTURISER DO YOU USE?
Body Shop cocoa body butter.

11) WHAT FOUNDATION?
Ermmm. I use ELF tinted moisturiser or/and Revlon. or MAC studio fix (although its way over priced, so its not often)

12) WHAT CONCEALER?
Maybelline.

13) DO YOU KNOW YOUR UNDERTONE COLOR?
Yes, Pink/Red.

14) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF FAKE EYELASHES?
I like them, but only when theyre used in the right way. Cant stand these girls that put about 3 pairs on at a time.

15) DID YOU KNOW YOUR SUPPOSE TO CHANGE YOUR MASCARA EVERY THREE MONTHS?
I do yes. and I tend too

16) WHAT TYPE OF MASCARA DO YOU USE?
The cheapest thats in Boots! Tends to be Bourjois.
I also like Maybelline and Maxfactor. MAC too... I like mascara! hah!

17) DO YOU REFUSE CERTAIN BRANDS/PRODUCTS?

I do in Winter. I use Garnier or Rimmel.

19) WHAT MAKE UP TOOLS DO YOU USE WHEN APPLYING MAKE UP
You already asked this.

Im going to Amsterdam for 4 days, but thats not really a holiday. More than likely be in San Pedro at some point.

22) DO YOU WEAR MAKE UP ON VACATION?
I dont. Not a lot anyway. I dont do anything with my hair either. I only wear make up at night, and even thats rare.
If I have the time to faff about with my appearance then I guess I do make the effort, but I just dont want to most of the time. Youre on holiday - a lot more you could be doing than putting on makeup. I like to be Au Naturel on holiday :-)

23) HOW OFTEN DO YOU POKE YOUR EYES WITH AN EYELINER PENCIL?
Never – mascaras a different story.

24) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF PIGMENT EYESHADOWS?

I do. I think sometimes it can be just as great as high end make up.

30) DO YOU GO TO A CCO?
I have no idea what that is.

31) DID YOU EVER CONSIDER TAKING MAKE UP CLASSES?
I’ve taken one but sometimes watching a makeup tutorial is just like taking a makeup course. There are no rules to makeup to me its like an art class. But if I had money I guess I would like a few, its good to add to another skill ha

32) ARE YOU CLUMSY PUTTING ON MAKE UP?
No, Im quite good. I guess cause its just like painting.

33) NAME A MAKE UP CRIME THAT YOU HATE?
Oh god, we're gonna be here forever!
I hate girls that pileee on the make up. Its just not needed and ruins their look. It doesnt matter how well you take it off or how good you look after your skin. They use make up in the wrong way and thats why they look so different when they take it off because they cover up their face. If they used it in the right way, it could accentuate their features.
I dont look much different without make up because I dont wear a lot. THE WORLD DOES NOT REVOLVE AROUND FOUNDATION
I also hate spider, clumpy eyelashes. Learn to do your eyes love, god!
I also hate when people put their foundation all over their lips so it looks the same colour. Idiots.
And then they do that stupid pout on a photo. ugh

34) DO YOU LIKE COLORFUL SHADES OF MAKE UP EYESHADOW, LIPSTICK OR NEUTRAL ONES?
I like them both. Im more suited to neutral I guess.

35) WHICH CELEBRITY ALWAYS HAS GREAT MAKE UP?
This is gonna be weird but I loved Marylin Monroes makeup. With the few products she had back then, she always had beautiful skin and amazing lips. Katy Perry is one of favourites as well!
I love Kim Kardashian as well. I think everyone loves her makeup.
Natalie Portman - because shes just beauiful with very little on. And Drew Barrymore has the most beautiful skin.
And obviously I loved Fran Dreshers makeup in the show The Nanny. I also love makeup that it is in beachy or summery advertising.

36) IF YOU COULD LEAVE THE HOUSE WITH ONE MAKE UP ITEM WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Vasaline lip balm.

37) WOULD YOU LIVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT MAKE UP ON?
Yes, all the time really. Quite comfortable in myself to do so. Saves a lot of money anyway!

38) DO YOU THINK YOU LOOK GOOD WITHOUT MAKE UP ON?
Yes. I think natural beauty shows in a clean face as well. I love women who dont really on it and go outside without makeup on as it shows confidence and that you are comfortable in themselves. Personally I think I do look better with makeup on but if my boyfriend thinks I look better without anything on, then I guess that speaks high volumes as well :-)

39) IN YOUR OPINION WHAT IS THE BEST MAKE UP LINE?
I dunno! I like Laura Mercier, ELF, MAC, Revlon, Sigma.

40) WHAT DO YOU THINK OF MAKE UP?
I think its brilliant. Even though I didnt start wearing it until I was 17, I love it. I love more of the editorial, design make up as its very creative and the looks they create are amazing! Thats why I hate these girls thats slap it on - theyre giving it a bad name! Make up will always be a big part in most girls life though.

Fran Fine - The Nanny.

When I was younger I lived in Australia, so the TV channels were always streamed from America. I got hooked on a show on FOX called "The Nanny". Honestly, i've seen every episode, know every plot line, every character and could possibly even play out a whole senario I was that obsessed with it.

My parents thought I was insane, the woman playing the main character had an incredibly nasal voice and was very loud. I just loved her, everything about her. Her hair, make up, clothes, shoes, her figure, her attitude. Just everything. I would definitely put her up there with some of my fashion influences and its so out of the ordinary. No one has ever really heard of the show, or her for that matter. But I just love every little thing. I cannot put my finger on it.
If anyone can - watch some of the episodes online. The story line is quite easy to follow. But her outfits... OH MY LORD... Her outfits! Her wardrobe is just INSANE! It is just fabulous, and very New York (where is it set)

I cant really say anymore - You would have to watch some episodes to understand where I am coming from. And I cannot, for the life of me, find any good images from the Internet to put on here.
Her big hair, and big make up is also something that just fascinates me. Her facial beauty is just mesmerizing. (well - to me anyway)
Now as I was growing up, I tried many many different hair styles and colours, but I always came back to being a brunette and having big curls. I think this is all because of her, as laughable as that may be! I have very thick, curly, crazy hair and I was never insecure about it because she made it look so beautiful. Obviously she had stylists and hairdressers to help with hers, But I absolutely love my hair being huge and im sure shes the one to blame! She wasnt afraid of anything and I think thats what I love about her. She wore outfits that were enticing, voluptuous and sexy. She was literally - A bombshell.

Ok - Quite a Lesbian rant over. (and if anyone can tell me where I can get it on boxset, I would be too happy for words) and if anyone else has seen it i'd love to know if you thought she was as amazing as I do :-)

Ebay?

So i'm looking to get into this Ebay thing. Selling a lot of beauties that are clogging up my tiny dorm room. Some are things I never thought I would say goodbye to, but I am sure they would go to much better homes. They are sat wasting away in mine!

That and the fact half of them won't fit over my new-found bootay anymore!

Any help? or advice regarding Ebay selling. Im definitely a virgin when it comes to it and have no clue where to start!

Thankyou Ladies!

Beautysleep

So one of the reasons I got a blog (other than being able to read and interact with some lovely people) is the fact that ive been quite ill the past few weeks. So - I am bedridden. With no work, which is unfortunate, yet still people say it must be amazing. Its not. Daytime television is not what it used to be! There is no Art Attack on at 12.30, and there is no way i'd stomach getting up at 6am to watch Christine Bleakley.

So here I am. In bed, whilst I watch the world go by. I wish there was a job I was qualified to do from my laptop, but knowing my luck there probably never will be such a thing.

A positive to this situation! = Ive watched more Youtube and read more blogs than I probably would have done my entire lifespan. And I love that. I dont know where this has all come about from? Reading peoples blogs and watching their videos, but its a bandwagon I cant wait to get on.
I love listening to other peoples opinions, especially when they are honest. Its important us women back each other up, and help as much as we can with the state of the prices of some products. I, for one, have saved a fair amount of money watching reviews and hauls on products that initially appealed to me.

Its so lovely to be part of this world. And its making me being ill that little more bearable :-)

Blabbing Blogger

So I did it. I gave in.

I got a blog. A certain friend will be jumping for joy ...

I am big blabber and where else is better to do that than on a blog. Im a beauty-fanatic, hair-lover, makeup addict, student, girlfriend, promoter, artist and above all... a female. I was bound to be some of those things!

I hope this is something that will keep not only myself entertained, but anyone else too. As well as informed.
Now all I have to do is keep up with it! :-)

Chantelle. X
